I am not a father but I am very close to someone that has been repeatedly and visciously abused by Magistrate Elizabeth Leith in the Denver Family Courts. Early on in the numerous hearings held before the magistrate she baldly informed him, on record, that she didn't like him and that he would NEVER win in her court. Grounds for appeal or for change of venue? No, not in Denver. No one cares. Perjury proven in three separate hearings - the magistrates response, again, on record, " you've already proven she lied but I don't care. Move on." Does anyone in District 18 care that the magistrate suborns perjury? Nope. Nothing. In another hearing I watched the magistrate credit evidence to the wrong party and then actually penalize the father for the evidence he provided of her wrongdoing. This magistrate does shoddy work, doesn't read her case files, suborns perjury in her courtroom and then takes away all parental rights from the father.
